As we do our maximum to to prevent credit card fraud and purchases of tobacco products by minors, Intercontinental Tobacco reserves the right to refuse business and/or request additional verification before we process your order. We will only do so to verify the identity and age of the credit card holder. No private information will be published or shared with other companies.
Some of our customers may not be approved due to a lack of verification. In that case, we will contact you via phone and email to verify your info. We will usually require you to see a copy of both sides of your credit card, as well as a copy of your driver’s license or other photo ID, which will verify your date of birth and signature.
ORDERING
Intercontinental Tobacco products are available for payment by all major credit cards. Purchasing through Intercontinental Tobacco is secure and easy. Our online credit card processing system uses a Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) to ensure your information is protected at all times. Intercontinental Tobacco accepts the following major credit cards: Visa, Discover, and American Express (AMEX). Upon completing your payment, be sure to follow the instructions and keep your payment information in a safe place.
SHIPPING
Domestic Orders (United States)
Domestic orders (orders shipping to the 48 contiguous United States) usually ship out within 1-2 business days. We ship domestic orders via UPS or the United States Postal Service (USPS). A tracking number will be emailed to you so you can track your order to your door. Transit times range from 1-5 business days, depending on your location and selected method of delivery. Address: Please make sure to enter the correct address when checking out. UPS charges a $17.00 fee for address change once shipped which will be charged to your account if requesting a change.
*UPS Overnight and 2Day orders take 1 day processing time from the date of purchase and Saturday/Sunday do not count as delivery days. Please make sure to contact us if you have any questions about the delivery date as we will not refund back if a mistake is made by the customer when choosing these shipping options.*
Shipments to P.O. Boxes, APO Addresses, Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico are always sent with the United States Postal Service (USPS).
International Orders
Intercontinental Tobacco ships to all parts of the world. Shipping costs are based on the weight of your order and desired shipping method. We ship internationally via USPS (United States Postal Service). Processing of international orders takes 1-3 business days due to verification of credit card and address. Shipping charges are calculated via the online system, just enter the country to get the shipping costs after adding items to the shopping cart. Free shipping for orders advertised on the website does not apply to international shipping. Free shipping only applies to USA destinations. Any orders returned will incur a 15% restocking fee and shipping costs will not be refunded. Buyer is responsible for any duties/custom fees incurred for their country.
International orders are shipped with USPS mail which takes about 2-6 weeks to arrive. Once the order gets to the destination country any issues/fees incurred are the responsibility of the buyer. We take no responsibility once the order tracking shows it is in the destination country. Please place international orders at your own risk and know the laws and regulations for allowed items.
Customs Duty Fee
All orders going outside of the U.S. are subject to be inspected by customs, and Intercontinental Tobacco has no way to avoid it. Since duty rates constantly change and vary in each county or province, we suggest that you contact your local customs office to get the most recent information regarding duty fees in your area.
We are legally required to ship international packages as commercial purchases including the original invoice with the full retail value of each item with no exceptions. Any additional duty fee that is charged by customs is the responsibility of the customer. You may always refuse the package and ask for it to be returned to us if you do not wish to pay the duty.
Address Changes
Please make sure the correct address is entered when checking out. If any address change is requested after the order has been shipped it will incur a $17.00 fee per UPS. If shipped via USPS we will not be able to make any address changes.
RETURN POLICY
All returns must be shipped back to Intercontinental Tobacco within 7 days of receiving the order. All orders must be returned in original unused condition with all accessories. The return shipping costs must be paid for by the customer. If a product was received defective, Intercontinental Tobacco will gladly replace it or provide a full credit. Defective products must be shipped back to us and we will provide a refund for shipping costs if proof of receipt for shipping is provided. Due to the nature of our products, we are unable to receive returns on products that have been used. This would present a health concern and disallow us from selling these products as ‘new.’ We will, however, receive returns on products that are in a new, unused condition.
International Orders Only: Orders returned due to return/exchange or customs/duties not paid will incur a 15% restocking fee and shipping costs will not be refunded.

I didn’t get an email confirmation of my order. How do I get one?
Our shopping cart automatically sends out an email confirmation after each order is finalized. If you did not receive an email confirmation, please email us at sales@intercontinentaltobacco.com and we will send you another one.
Can I add things or make changes to my order?
Please contact us as soon as possible to make changes to your order. If it is during normal business hours, please call us at (901)246‑7498 so that we can make changes to your order before it is shipped out. If it is after business hours, please send us an email with your changes.
What is the Texas Tobacco Tax?
On September 1, 2009, the Texas Legislature passed a law that increased the OTP tobacco tax in the state of Texas by over 325% causing hookah tobacco products to become very expensive. Due to this reason, Intercontinental Tobacco must charge an addon tax fee to any tobacco-based shisha sold to a Texas consumer. If you are purchasing tobacco in person at the Texas Hookah store or shipping tobacco to a destination inside of Texas you will be billed for the Texas tobacco taxes due on your order. We will call/email you to notify you of the extra amount before shipping the order.
What is your selling policy?

Any patrons violating all or portions of these terms of use may be prosecuted under law. We diligently track all credit card transactions and any misuse or fraudulent activity will be reported and may be prosecuted. Credit card fraud is a felony.
